BaCK tO DOningtOn The controversial move of the British MotoGP round to the Circuit of Wales has taken a new twist with confirmation that next year’s race will be held at Donington Park. The new CoW track, which is not yet built, won the event in a deal last month, and has effectively ‘sub let’ the race to the Midlands circuit for a year. Carmelo ezpeleta, CeO of MotoGP promoter Dorna said: “The Circuit of Wales has worked very quickly to secure the best deal for British race fans and we believe Donington Park will deliver a fantastic race in 2015. “Donington has a long history and has been the scene of some of the most exciting MotoGP races in recent years and we are sure that the extensive works undertaken since it reopened four years ago will guarantee a successful event.” The British GP has been held at silverstone since 2009, prior to which it was at Donington.
