THE MOMENT... US Grand Prix, 1974. Carlos Reutemann (Brabham B44) grabbed his first win of the season at the last race of the year, leading from pole. Emerson Fittipaldi clinched the world title by finishing fourth, while the race was overshadowed by a crash, eerily similar to that of Francois Cevert a year earlier, which claimed the life of promising young Austrian Helmut Koinigg (Surtees).
