GP Week : Issue 31
>>MOTOGPCHAT You seem to have a complicated life! Yeah – because I would like to have many (girlfriends). One in each country, but it’s not easy, it’s too busy. What makes you laugh? Not so much this year! To have fun – you can do it in so many ways, do crazy things. But sometimes just one thing gives me a bit of happiness. Right now, it would be a good feeling with the bike, and some good points in the championship. Are you still an amateur deejay? Yeah – for fun. I am not so good, but I do it for fun. This helps me to switch off sometimes. I have a big flight case with the equipment, to play CDs to get rid of stress. I like to play hip-hop, R&B, dance music – like house music. One last question – what do you think about the one-tyre rule. I don’t like it much. The World Championship must be open to everyone. If you see the Superbikes, everybody complains about tyres anyway. If there will be only one profile, one casing, we will have to see for which bike they are going to develop it. Because if they develop it with Ducati it’s not good for Honda or Kawasaki. They should have to make something completely new for everybody, from January. A new casing. Even if it’s bad, as long as it is completely different, and new for everybody. Even if it’s a bad tyre? Yeah. I think so. They should come back a little bit and let the riders ride a little bit more. Not only power delivery and traction control, but also the bike. We need the bike sliding more, to make it a bit more physical. Now the bikes just follow each other. 21
