>>Moto GPnews ule The best jokes are old jokes Rossi: VALENTINO Rossi’s post-win pantomime performances have been a feature of his career – ranging from putting a man in a chicken suit to a blow-up doll dressed as Claudia Schiffer. But fans were surprised to see him repeat an old joke at Jerez: dashing to a trackside portaloo on the slow-down lap as if it had been poor digestion that had put him in enough of a hurry to win the race. But he and his fan club have not run out of new ideas, he reported after the race. Instead, they were celebrating the tenth anniversary of the lavatory dash. “I think the toilet was one of the funniest jokes,”he said after the race. “And it was 10 years ago that I did it, in 1999. “My fan club told me there was a toilet by the track, so we decided to do it again, if I won, to celebrate that I am still winning at Jerez 10 years later.” 15
