We started work on it five or six months ago together.” But constant arguments between FOTA and the FIA over the 2010 regulations has made life difficult for the new entrants. With no clear direction on what the regulations will be, deciding on an optimum route for the car has been tough. “It’s been difficult but I think that really all the teams want the same thing. I think there’s common ground there now and I hope it’ll be resolved within the next few weeks. We understand it’ll be pretty much 2009 regulations without refuelling, but I think it’s more important that we all want to race under the same regulations and that the cost restrictions are brought in over a number of years. We realise it’s impossible for the other teams to do it in one year, but we’re hopeful of a level 31
