Leitner ... although whatever criticisms there may be of the forceful and sometimes maverick Puig, a lack of focus is not one of them. Nakamoto himself came to the Repsol Honda team this year as on-track leader and HRC vice-president. He was fresh from Formula One, where he was senior technical director, for an unhappy and ultimately terminal spell. The R107 GP car he oversaw was notably unsuccessful, quite apart its unintentionally humorous Earth Dream livery, and his tenure ended a year later in the dissolution of the team.
