JORGE Lorenzo wore a special NASA replica crash helmet to go with his off-white Fiat Punto leathers at Estoril -- and ended up over the moon after a fault-free weekend ended in a fourth win of the year, and a full tally of points to close up the title battle. Fiat Yamaha team-mate and title points leader Valentino Rossi, however, could do no better than fourth, as come-back kid Casey Stoner (Marlboro Ducati) pushed through in the early stages to a commanding second place, with fast starter Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda) following on in third. It was a processional race after a modicum of shuffling in the early laps, with Lorenzo taking the lead from Pedrosa before half a lap was done, and gradually stretching away to win by 6.3 seconds. 36
