The 2009 GPWe For the second year, GPWeek this week unveils its award winners from the worlds of Formula 1, MotoGP and the WRC. As with last season, the concept of the awards is simple. We asked every driver and rider in the three leading racing categories on earth to vote for who had impressed them the most in the championships other than the one in which they competed. So the F1 drivers voted for who'd impressed them the most in MotoGP and the WRC, the MotoGP boys voted for F1 and WRC and the WRC chaps ticked the boxes for F1 and MotoGP. Simple. The voting in 2009 was closer than ever, refecting not only the level of competition in all three categories, but in the clear interest shown in each of the championships by those voting.
