Vettel and Hamilton get pit-lane rap LEWIS Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel were reprimanded for dangerous driving after the pair raced side-by-side down the pitlane, rather than concede the position. As he emerged from his box, Hamilton got very sideways as he slid on a painted line. The two then touched. Vettel commented: "At the stop you were mentioning I was ahead, I don't know why he was keen to touch me. "I thought hopefully I don't suffer a puncture after that, don't really understand because I was a bit ahead." Hamilton, meanwhile, was adamant his actions were fair: "I think the team waited for quite some time and they released me when they thought it was the right time, but I got quite a lot of wheel spin, so I struggled to get out the actual box. "There's a big, long, blue line down the pit lane which is all painted and it's so slippery. As soonasIhitthatIlostabitof traction. "Unfortunately that let Vettel get alongside me. He was pushing me a little bit to the right. We touched wheels but otherwise I think it was fair. It was good racing" Liuzzi blames cold brakes for rst lap shunt WHILE the unpredictable weather made the race tense and exciting, the only crash of note was at Turn 4 on lap one, and Tonio Liuzzi set the ball rolling. The Force India drive spun around under braking and collected Sebastian Buemi and Kamui Kobayashi as they turned in. "I was just a passenger, I didn't see much. When I went into corner four the brake locked and I slid off," said the Italian. Liuzzi went airborn as his car snapped across the Sauber's nose, showering the track with debris. Kobayashi said simply: "Liuzzi's car just flew into mine and I was out." 28
