The first race of the season is always important from the technical point of view, as it is rich in ingredients, in terms of bits and pieces put on the cars for the first time, or at least elements that were hidden from too intrusive eyes, during the latest pre- season testing. The top teams especially bring the changes to their cars at the very last moment of the pre-season sessions, so as to not show too early their weapons to their main rivals. This year was no exception in this respect – in fact it was interesting to note a huge amount of information on many details of the cars.
