MOTOGP >>> nEWs Fenati on the double Two wins by Romano Fenati have marked him as the man to challenge Jack Miller for the Moto3 title. The Italian won in controversial circumstances in Argentina, bumping his way past Miller and Alex Marquez on the penultimate corner. Marquez recovered best to take second from the furious Australian, who felt he had the race won until Fenati’s final lunge. “Do you really think a protest would change the result?” Miller commented after the race. It did not, but Fenati’s action did not go unpunished, as a post- race hearing resulted in a one -point penalty for his actions. In Spain (above ), Efren Vazquez took second ahead of Alex Rins and Miller, who was strangely low-key in the race after taking pole by a dominant 0.6s. Fenati’s wins are his first in almost two years and the first for Valentino Rossi as a team owner.
