MOTOGP >>> nEWs MOTO3 – RACE HONDA/MARQUEZ WINS (NO, NOT THAT MARQUEZ) As if watching older brother Marc make it seven wins from seven was not good enough, the Marquez family had two wins to celebrate in Barcelona, with Alex Marquez getting raceday off to a great start by taking out the Moto3 event. His estrella Galicia Honda started on pole for the first time and took the win ahead of enea Bastianini and efren Vazquez. It was a stunning result for Bastianini, who started from the front row for the first time and ended up on the podium in only his seventh GP start. Championship leader Jack Miller (Red Bull KTM Ajo) rode intelligently to four th place, gaining crucial extra points in the standings as he moved up from eighth in the final stages. Crucially, the Australian was a spot ahead of title rival Romano Fenati (sKY Racing Team VR46), with the improving Mahindra of Brad Binder (Ambrogio Racing) not far behind him in sixth. In spite of moving up 11 places after a bad Qualifying session, Fenati now finds himself seven points behind in the title race. The title hopes of Alex Rins took a hit when he was forced out of the race early when his estrella Galicia Honda retired with a broken gear lever. 20 GPWEEK.com // 20 GPWEEK.com // PARTNERS:
