MOTOGP >>> nEWs mOTO3 – RaCE mILLaR maRk fOuR Things could not have gone any better for jack Miller in Germany. The Australian started from pole and won for the fourth time this season on his Ajo KTM and, after holding out the challenge of Alex Marquez (Honda) and Brad Binder (Mahindra), extended his lead in the Moto3 World Championship. In spite of dropping to fourth place, Marquez has taken over second place and now looms as the biggest threat over the second half of the season. Binder took a career-best second place, ahead of Alexis Masbou (Ongetta-Rivacold Honda). The men who came to Germany with Miller in their sights both crashed. Alex Rins fell after getting what looked like a clip on the rear of his Estrella Galicia Honda from Eric Granado on the first lap, while Romano Fenati had a terrible weekend, tumbling into the kitty litter soon after wards. He had started 25th after a rushed engine changed in Qualifying. It was a terrible weekend for Fenati’s Sky Racing VR46 team, with teammate Francesco Bagnaia missing the race due to pain from a wrist he fractured at Assen. 22 GPWEEK.com // 22 GPWEEK.com // PARTNERS:
